Dr. Palanki Satya Dattatreya is among the best Medical Oncologists in the country. He had graduated from institute of M.K.C.G Medical College, Orissa India, obtained his M.D in Paediatrics from Smt. N.H.L Municipal Medical College and DNB in Paediatrics from National Board of Examinations and DM (Medical Oncology) from Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad, 2004. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine in Medical Oncology from Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute and Diplomat of National Board in Medical Oncology from National Board of Examinations.

He had presented papers on Unusual extra-medullary relapses with imatinib treatment in a case of CML (Chronic Phanse), Cetuximab in squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck (SCCHN) & Non – Small cell lung cancer (NSCL,) ‘Wilms’ tumor at Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute Paediatric Oncology Department.

He stood first in the final D.M (Diploma in Medical Oncology) examinations and got Gold Medal for the academic year. He won many prizes for poster presentations on Pediatric NHL and Paediatric Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma.

He has actively involved in teaching and training medical, dental, radiotherapy and physiotherapy students at the time of his D.M. Residency. He worked as full time consultant Medical Oncologist at Indo American Hospitals and offered his services in many highly reputed hospitals.

He is currently a full time Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist at Omega Hospitals, Hyderabad.
